Mor Regev, LCSW-S
About Mor

Pronouns: she/her

MSW, Wash U. in St. Louis

Texas License Number: 61586

Mor began Therapy and Mor in 2021 and currently serves as a therapist and supervisor for the team. She has been a passionate social worker and educator for her entire career, which started in 2006 when she became a teacher in the Bronx through Teach for America. She received her MSW in 2013 and has since worked with thousands of individuals and their families to help them become the people they were meant to be as a school counselor and private practice therapist. She also became a certified yoga teacher in 2017. Now, she loves being fully immersed in private practice where she can fully focus her efforts in two areas: her clients’ well being and the growth and learning of the therapists she supervises. She believes that with the desire to grow, and a bit of discipline to put new behaviors into practice, anyone can create the life they want to live.

In her spare time, Mor loves to read, do yoga, spend time with her family, cook, bake, craft, and spend time outdoors. Her happy place is in the mountains of Colorado.

Clinical Specialties

Mor works with older adolescents and adults experiencing life transitions, anxiety, depression, trauma, borderline personality disorder and dissociative disorders. She is a certified EMDR practitioner. She is also a certified yoga teacher and uses mindfulness in her therapy practice regularly. Most of Mor’s clients seek her services because something in their lives isn’t working. It could be relationships, job issues, an inability to complete what they have started, or sometimes it’s just a languishing or stuckness. Marital and relationship issues and issues with parents, siblings, or kids are some of the most common reasons people come to therapy with Mor. Sometimes the work ends once those relationships feel more stable and settled and sometimes people realize there is more going on underneath the surface and there is more to dig into in therapy.

She is highly personable and enjoys forming relationships with her clients, which means she discloses more about herself than other therapists people might have worked with previously, but only if it will serve her clients’ healing and growth.
